Managed Care (HMO/PPO) Policy Statement To Patients

Your employer or your doctor may occasionally change medical plans. Therefore, at some point in time, you may find that you and your doctor are not on the same plans together. This does not mean that you must stop seeing us as your provider.

You may continue to see us out of your medical network. This may sometimes result in slightly higher costs. We are aware of this and will do everything we can to minimize your costs. We often give free medication samples, sometimes saving you hundreds of dollars. This may more than make up the difference in your extra costs.

Many patients see us out-of-network because they have confidence in the quality of our care. They also enjoy not having to wait days and weeks for appointments, and they know that they usually get well after the first visit with us. This will save you time and money.

As medical plans change over the years, we may also find ourselves back on the same plan again in the near future. We wish you happiness and health and would consider it an honor to continue being your doctor.
